4/13/23 – Community Meeting

My first community meeting. Joshua Mora’s mom thanked the police officer who led the investigation into finding the perpetrator of Joshua’s hit and run. Other community activists spoke about the many issues that come from neglect by the city, county and state departments in Boyle Heights and East LA. Mr. Gallagher reported that CD14 representatives communicate regularly with the Department of Transportation advocating for safer crosswalks in Los Angeles. Currently 155 crosswalks are on board for work. Orme & Whittier’s flashing lights are a priority because of the neighborhoods activism.

I’ve got MS. I’m broke now. If you’ve got money I need a stem cell therapy thing that costs 30 grand.
